Scotland’s leading provider of older person and specialist care, Meallmore, is celebrating a major milestone after being named in the Top 20 Large Care Home Groups across the UK for the first time.
The annual carehome.co.uk Care Home Group Awards celebrate excellence in care by recognising the Top 20 highest-rated Care Home Groups in the UK.
As the UK’s leading care home directory and comparison website, the ratings are based entirely on individual review scores from residents, and their friends, family and loved ones, demonstrating real life opinions and first-hand experiences from those most closely connected to the homes.
The only Scottish provider to make the list, Meallmore is committed to providing the highest standards of personalised care. This is demonstrated by their 9.5 average rating, which is among the highest scores across the care home sector.
As well as making the Top 20 Large Care Home Group, Meallmore care home, Hilton Court in Dunfermline, Fife was named one of the Top 20 Care Homes in Scotland, with a near perfect score of 9.9. Along with recognising the best-performing care home groups, the carehome.co.uk Awards celebrate the top-rated care homes across the 12 regions of the UK.
Celebrating its 40th year in business this year, Meallmore currently operates 27 homes across Scotland: 21 for older people, five for adults with mental health needs and one for adults with learning or physical disability. Three new homes are in development, which will provide services for elderly people in Aberdeen City, Broughty Ferry and Clarkston.
